Unable to pay your New Jersey state taxes in full? NJ has payment plans to let you settle your debt in installments. To be eligible, you must owe $500 or more for all taxes (other than on cigarettes). Both businesses and individuals may request a plan. It must include all unpaid balances, and the monthly payment must be at least $25. Plans range from three to 60 months. If you’re having trouble reimbursing the state for overpayment of Homestead Benefit or Senior Freeze benefits, a plan also can help. Click here to request an installment plan. © 2019
