The New Jersey State Treasurer has announced that the NJ gas tax rate will remain stable for the coming year. The 26.9¢ per gallon petroleum products gross receipts tax rate will remain unchanged. When combined with the motor fuels tax, the total gasoline tax rate will stay the same at 41.4¢ per gallon. And the total diesel tax rate will remain unchanged at 48.4¢ per gallon.
