The IRS has made three rounds of Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) to eligible individuals to help mitigate the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. What happens if you lose your payment or it’s stolen? The IRS has answered these types of questions concerning the SECOND EIP in a series of questions. These payments were sent to most recipients earlier this year. They were $600 per eligible individual ($1,200 for married couples filing jointly) and $600 per eligible child.
