NJ ANCHOR Program May Help NJ Residents Save on Property Taxes

The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (NJ ANCHOR) program provides property tax relief to NJ residents who owned or rented their principal residence (main home) on October 1, 2019 and met the income limits.1

The NJ ANCHOR program, which replaces the Homestead Rebate, is designed to help homeowners and renters save money on property taxes with new limitations and qualifications, allowing more New Jersey residents to participate.

Here are a few helpful links from the NJ State Department of the Treasury website with information on eligibility and other parameters:

The deadline to file the ANCHOR tax benefit application has been extended to January 31, 2023. Please reach out to us with any questions.
